Kota Ray Dam will reopen this Memorial Day weekend with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for May 22 at 4 p.m. and upgraded features like a youth pedal park, reconfigured campsites, comfort stations, and a lakeside lawn-chair amphitheater — online reservations for both Kota Ray Dam and Blacktail Dam will open on May 19 at 8:30 a.m. for dates between May 23 and October 31.

The University of Mary is launching a Teacher Leadership Academy for educators in the BPS and WPS districts to provide leadership training and skill development; the program will begin later this year — further details are expected.
