- ➤ North Dakota’s SNAP-Ed nutrition education program ended on Oct. 1 when the Big Beautiful Bill cut its $1.1-million budget, leaving educators to rely on a smaller EFNEP program with a $400-thousand budget & fewer staff. Former coordinator Christina Masich said she is now building online learning platforms to keep delivering nutrition classes & support in 15 counties. KFYR-TV
