EDUCATION NEWS

  • Williston State College received a $20,000 grant from TC Energy’s Build Strong program to boost its Petroleum Technology and Automation programs—this funding will support hands-on learning and practical training for students.  Williston Herald
  • The Williston Basin School Board gave high marks to new superintendent Jason Germundson, who took over in July and built a strong connection with the community. He said his team is working hard as the district plans a new elementary school and changes to school boundaries next school year—moves that aim to support student success.  KFYR-TV

SPORTS NEWS

  • Kayla Wolff and her 10-year-old golden retriever Bentley from Burlington were inducted into the DockDogs Hall of Fame—making them the first North Dakota duo to receive this honor—after a nomination by family and friends at the championships earlier this month. They will next compete in February in Bismarck.  KFYR-TV
