- ➤ On Tuesday, the MHA Nation Emergency Operations Center monitored Washington talks on a government shutdown that could delay SNAP funding and is planning measures to secure food access if needed—Emily Sitting Bear said the tribe will remain in its planning phase until Friday even though no emergency declaration was issued.
