EDUCATION NEWS

➤ Williston State College has opened enrollment for its new Degree Bridge program with Dickinson State University as its first partner. The program lets students transfer credits toward further degrees and prepares them for their future education. Williston Herald

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ The North Dakota Department of Transportation announced the 2025 Name-A-Plow Contest — it invites residents to submit snowplow name ideas in their home district until Nov. 21. Rules require names to be appropriate and under 15 characters — duplicate names will be considered by who submits first. KFYR-TV
➤ Western Region Economic Development is inviting local candidates to apply for one of three board seats at its December meeting—applicants must submit a one-page letter of interest or hand-deliver it to Williston Economic Development by November 18. Williston Graphic
