➤ Summit Carbon Solutions filed an amendment with the Iowa Utilities Commission and may change its carbon pipeline route—possibly moving the project outside the Dakotas after South Dakota banned eminent domain for carbon pipelines. The company still needs approvals from both North and South Dakota to proceed. KFYR-TV

ECONOMY NEWS

➤ Williston Water World and the Williston Community Builders earned the Economic Development Association of North Dakota’s 2025 Community Development Award—an annual honor recognizing efforts to boost local growth—and officials said the honor—given for outstanding community contributions—will encourage new development projects in the area. Williston Herald

SPORTS NEWS

➤ Trey Mildenberger is a senior for the Mandan Braves football team who, after a car crash caused a complete spinal cord injury, continues to support the team with passion. He will graduate this spring, plans to play adaptive rugby at Arizona State University, and hopes to return to North Dakota to coach the next generation — proving his steadfast spirit. KFYR-TV
