Two volunteers with the Western North Dakota Honor Flight helped an 86 year old veteran when a minor medical emergency cost him his first tour day in Washington, D.C.
They took him on a nighttime drive to see memorials such as the Korean War Memorial to make his visit a memorable tribute to his service.

The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction said that federal staffing cuts at the DOE will not impact students because federal funding has already been received and distributed—ensuring education programs stay secure.
