COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ The Williston Music Intensive will run from October 6–10, 2025, and will focus on training singers with workshops at Williston State College. The event will end on October 10 with a free public showcase at James Memorial Art Center at 6 p.m. Williston Graphic
- ➤ Williston Downtowners is hosting Restaurant Week with dining deals from Oct. 5 to 11 and Oct. 12 to 19. The event features $10 meals, $18.04 specials and $66 date nights—prices inspired by local history—and local spots like The Courthouse Café and Dakota Farms taking part. Williston Graphic
- ➤ The old Ford building at 202 1st Avenue East has been transformed into the Great Northern Events Center and will open with an all-ages Oktoberfest on Oct. 25 featuring four regional breweries, artisan vendors, and live music with headliner Jessie G. The mixed-use venue, whose plans began in late 2022, will later offer retail and dining while hosting a concert series starting on Nov. 15 — a sign of downtown revitalization. Williston Graphic

- ➤ Downtown Williston’s Old Armory Theatre will get a $350,000 facelift to improve safety and appeal, and Entertainment Inc. will present The Addams Family in fall shows from Oct. 2 to Oct. 5 and Oct. 9 to Oct. 12. - ➤ Beef prices are at an all-time high with stores charging more since February 2020—ranchers report selling spring calves and larger steers for record amounts, and prices are expected to continue rising through 2026 due to tighter supply and weather challenges. KFYR-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of Williston delivered a balanced FY 2026 budget with revenues of $195,050,399 matched to expenditures of $195,031,635 after cutting costs and reducing 28 positions—ensuring that essential services such as public safety and infrastructure continue to be funded. LIFESTYLE NEWS
- ➤ Exhale Yoga & Wellness celebrates its eighth anniversary—having grown from a small studio on Broadway in 2017 to a wellness hub at 125 Main Street—and is hosting month-long events in October that include Exhale After Dark and the unveiling of an interactive Story Wall by local artist Sam Rush while expanding offerings like hot yoga, reformer pilates, contrast therapy, and a new protein menu in its café.
