- ➤ Williston High School held its homecoming parade as district officials planned a route that kept participants safe by staying close to the school—bands and floats started at 4 p.m. from the CTE center on 37th Street and turned at Prairie Commons Street and Long Branch Avenue before ending at the high school parking lot. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota waterfowl season for residents opens September 27 with new rules that require an electronic stamp—hunters will also face zone changes and a pintail bag limit raised to three. Early dry weather led to fewer ducks, but officials said opportunities remain for hunters this season. KFYR-TV
