- ➤ A Williston man has been charged with theft-related offenses — he allegedly sold company-purchased parts for profit. Williston Herald
- ➤ A contract worker in Williston faces felony charges—investigators say he stole copper wiring valued at over $150,000 and sold it for scrap. Williston Herald
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Williams County commissioners approved a plan to loan tax-exempt revenue bond proceeds—up to $400 million—to help Basin Electric finance the nearly $4 billion Bison Generation Station near Ray that will create about 1,400 megawatts of power and be operational in 2030. KFYR-TV
- ➤ Williston city commissioners voted on (Aug. 26) to update parking rules that allow disabled veterans to use their license plates as permits for designated parking; the new measure will be implemented soon to improve access for veteran drivers. Williston Herald
- ➤ Attorneys continue settlement talks over noise complaints at Atlas Power Data Center west of Williston, with Judson Township residents seeking relief + the settlement terms may take a couple months to finalize. KFYR-TV
