- ➤ Fairgoers are urged to buy tickets directly from the official State Fair website — social media reports show scammers are attempting to sell unofficial tickets. KFYR-TV
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota business owners warned that new Canadian tariffs, set to take effect Aug. 1, will increase costs and add market uncertainty. Patrick Hart of Anytime Works and soybean farmer Justin Sherlock said the tariffs—now at 35%—will likely force many to pass higher costs to customers. KFYR-TV
- ➤ Oil and gas production in the Bakken fell in May as operators produced just over 1.11 million barrels per day—a 5% drop from April—with gas output declining nearly 3% to around 3.3 billion cubic feet. The rig count dropped from 32 to 29 as lower prices and mergers contributed to the slowdown, while WTI prices have held near $65 a barrel. KFYR-TV
