- ➤ The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce announced that Williston Water World will open its doors at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 — the grand opening event promises to bring summer fun to local residents. Williston Herald
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Turtle Mountain and Spirit Lake Tribes say redrawn legislative maps from 2021 have diluted Native votes — they have filed a motion to stay the recent court ruling and may seek a Supreme Court review to protect voting rights. KFYR-TV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ ND HHS listed three sites for possible measles exposure after officials confirmed the first new case over a month ago. Exposure occurred at Marathon Gas Station on June 30 (7:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.), at Raymond Family Community Center parking lot on July 1 (1:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.), and at CHI St. Alexius Williston Emergency Room on July 5 (4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.); unvaccinated individuals at these sites are advised to quarantine for up to 21 days while those vaccinated should monitor for symptoms.
