- ➤ Longtime Regent resident Dennis Gion recalled the F4 tornado on June 29, 1975—killing an infant and injuring four—and noted that damage such as a roof blown off a local butte still marks the memory of that 50th anniversary event. KFYR-TV

- ➤ Lucas Gjovig, a Williston native and CEO of Go Wireline who once chaired the city planning and zoning commission, was appointed as the new commissioner replacing Tate Cymbaluk and attended his first meeting this week.
