- ➤ State regulators started investigating EPIC Companies and former CEO Todd Berning in May 2024—after months of finance questions arose—while the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last July. The probe is still active as officials work to protect investors and the public. KFYR-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Attorney General Drew Wrigley issued an opinion on Section 7 of Senate Bill 2014 that will free $35 million for housing programs statewide after Governor Kelly Armstrong mistakenly vetoed the section. Executive director Dave Flohr said most of the funds (with $25 million for home projects and $10 million for homeless programs) will be allocated starting July 1. KFYR-TV
- ➤ Effective Monday, 6/16, Williams County will close CR 11 (129th Ave NW) from Hwy 50 south 5 miles to CR 12 (75th St NW) for construction and will use CR 9 (134th Ave NW) as a detour with signs marking the closure. Williams County
