COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ Williston Water World is scheduled to open Tuesday, July 15 with a lazy river, slides, a lap pool and sun shelf after the outdoor pool closed in 2014. The park will operate through August 24 and will charge $3 for those 21 and younger and $8 for adults—indoor pool access at the ARC will be paused. KFYR-TV
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Taco Bell is under construction at Williston Square and work will continue through the summer. Border Foods, which operates more than 200 restaurants, will run the outlet after a groundbreaking held last month following a city deal signed three years ago — no opening date has been announced yet. - ➤ Williston High School announced its second semester honor roll for 9th graders + those with a 3.5 GPA or higher, including Kaiden Adkins, Isaiah Anderson, Francis Apolis, and others were recognized. Williston Herald

- ➤ Residents in Williston are urged to check AirNow.gov for current air quality details as wildfire smoke has returned earlier than usual from fires in Canada. - ➤ The City of Williston is hosting an official ribbon cutting ceremony for Williston Care Flight on June 17 at Overland Aviation—officials say the event will launch a new air care service for the community. Williston Herald
