- ➤ Continental Resources founder Harold Hamm announced at the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Bismarck that the company will resume oil drilling in North Dakota before the end of the year (a move welcomed by state officials for its revenue benefits). Williston Herald

- ➤ On Tuesday, Williams County officials enhanced local services by reappointing a LoadPass representative, assuming library fiscal duties, and awarding a $312,458 pavement marking contract. - ➤ Interior Secretary Doug Burgum attended the final day of the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference today to outline an energy dominance policy boosting domestic oil and gas production (noting offshore wind projects near busy areas cause radar issues). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ USAFR’s 910th Airlift Wing will conduct wide-area aerial larvicide treatments using VectoBac 12AS on riparian areas of the Missouri River south and southeast of Williston from May 26 to June 5, weather permitting. Residents may see military aircraft flying at low elevations, but the treatments will not affect populated areas. Williams County
- ➤ Trinity Health has teamed with CHI Health at Home and CaringEdge to transfer hospice care after ending its services in February—over 100 former patients, including those in Williston, now receive care at Trinity Homes as the transition proceeds. KFYR-TV
