- ➤ Fort Buford will host the 6th Infantry Living History Encampment and flag raising on May 23-24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fort Buford State Historic Site, featuring free demonstrations that honor soldiers and mark the tourism season plus the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Little Bighorn. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota leaders unveiled a plan to improve oil recovery from the Bakken using enhanced techniques, CO₂, and $36 million from the Department of Energy as part of the Crack the Code 2.0 initiative. Pilot projects in state oil fields may begin late this year or early next year to potentially increase recovery rates. KFYR-TV
