- ➤ The North Dakota Industrial Commission voted on Tuesday, Apr. 28 to commit up to $500 million to WBI Energy’s Bakken East natural gas pipeline, which will transport 1 billion cubic feet a day from McKenzie County to eastern areas with construction starting in 2029 + completing in 2030. Williston Herald
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Williston Basin International Airport will receive $830,000 to replace snow removal equipment as part of a $17.9 million FAA funding package for 20 airports across North Dakota; Sen. John Hoeven said the grants will improve safety, efficiency and long-term viability. Williston Herald
- ➤ The FAA awarded nearly $18 million to upgrade 20 state airports, with $3.4 million allocated for terminal expansion at Hector International and $830,000 for snow removal equipment at Williston Basin International. Sen. Hoeven’s office said the funding will enhance airport safety + boost economic growth. Williston Herald
