- ➤ A group submitted 57,000 signatures on Thursday, Apr. 9 to qualify a free school meals ballot measure statewide. The petition, which would require schools to provide free breakfast and lunch for all students, is under review until May 14 at the Secretary of State's office. Williston Herald
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The North Dakota Grain Growers Association is asking federal policymakers to change the Farm Storage Facility Loan Program so farmers can get low-interest loans for on-farm fertilizer storage. The group wants this change to help manage rising fertilizer and fuel costs and may push for it in the next farm bill. Williston Herald
