- ➤ Williston Parks and Recreation plans to open Williston Water World before the end of summer with soft openings starting in June to train staff—Executive Director Joe Barsh said the pools are still under construction even as the water slides and lazy river are nearly complete—and a final schedule will be shared later this spring. - ➤ Thistle Grove Floral in Powers Lake had its soft opening on Monday as owners Amy Schroeder and Nicole Jorstead began taking orders for prom flowers and custom arrangements. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 101 1st Ave E next to the lumber yard — adding a touch of small-town charm for community events. KFYR-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ In early January, PowerSchool’s system was breached, exposing sensitive data from school systems, and North Dakota’s Department of Information and Technology secured the information in January and February. A cybersecurity firm found a previous hack occurred between August and September 2024 — and PowerSchool reached a financial agreement with the hackers to destroy the stolen data. KFYR-TV
