- ➤ Jason Germundson was named the new superintendent for the Williston Basin School District Monday after a month of interviews — he served as interim since January with nearly 20 years of experience and will soon begin contract negotiations for a July start, making him the third superintendent in five years. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ North Dakota drivers are one step closer to a new styling option for license plates after the Senate passed a bill and the House lowered fees to a $10 initial fee—similar to choices in Iowa and Minnesota. The bill will return to the Senate, and if signed by Governor Kelly Armstrong, the plates will be available in fall with over 7,500 drivers expected to generate more than $2 million for the highway fund—with design work still ongoing.
