- ➤ The Williston Basin School District announced that Susan Prady was chosen as the first principal of Sloulin Elementary on Monday. With over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience, her contract will begin in July—while the new school is set to open in August 2026. KFYR-TV
- ➤ Abrahamson Rodeo Company will host its 15th rodeo school in Stanley from March 21st to March 23rd—attracting over 30 students for bull riding, bull fighting and rodeo clown training with free access for spectators. - ➤ At their March 18 meeting in Williston, Williams County Commissioners declared a fire emergency and set burn restrictions for the rest of the year when fire danger is very high or a Red Flag Warning is issued. Under these rules, residents cannot burn items like leaves, grass clippings and debris — though controlled devices on hard surfaces are allowed with water or a fire extinguisher nearby — to help prevent fires.
