About this event
The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center invites children ages 7 and under to “Littlest Confluence Explorers.” The program is designed for young learners and is ideal for preschoolers, homeschool families, and children curious about the world around them. Programs are offered on the first and third Thursdays of each month. With two session offerings each day, families can choose the time that works best for them.
Each one-hour session brings a new story to life as we explore the history, nature, and people of the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence region. Through interactive storytelling, hands-on activities, games, and creative crafts, little learners will discover the wildlife, landscapes, and fascinating stories that make our region so special.
Thursday, Nov. 19, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Adventures With Lewis and Clark! Follow the famous expedition across the American West as we read “Lewis and Clark: A Prairie Dog for the President.” Learn about the wildlife, landscapes, and people they encountered along the journey then test your skills in a game of Paddle, Paddle, Portage.
“Littlest Confluence Explorers” programming is part of the ND250 commemoration celebrating our country’s 250th birthday.
